Who Frunny is for
Frunny is a parent-operated family play app. A parent or guardian creates and controls the account. Children do not create accounts, post publicly, chat with others, receive advertising or use Frunny independently.
Information we handle
- Parent email, account identifier and sign-in information.
- A child nickname and birth month and year, used to determine an age band without collecting a full birth date.
- Interests, parent-selected priorities, practical restrictions and optional practical details that affect play.
- Play requests, suggestions, starts, completions and separate parent and child-response feedback.
- Moment titles, notes, dates and optional photos chosen by the parent.
- Membership entitlement and store transaction status processed by RevenueCat and Apple or Google.
- Safety-guidance acknowledgement and the rule version shown.
Why we use it
We use this information to secure the account, provide suitable play choices, remember what the family enjoyed, maintain private Journey and Moment records, apply safety rules, provide membership access and support the parent.
Device access
Frunny opens the photo library only when a parent chooses to add a Moment photo. The device share sheet opens only after a parent chooses Share. Text-to-speech reads instructions when requested. Frunny does not currently request precise location, contacts, microphone recording or camera capture.
Service providers
Frunny uses Supabase for sign-in, database and private photo storage; RevenueCat for membership status; and Apple or Google for store purchases. These providers process information needed to deliver their services under their own terms.
Sharing and advertising
Family information is private by default. A Moment leaves Frunny only when the parent explicitly uses the device share sheet and chooses a recipient. Frunny does not currently contain advertising or cross-app tracking technology.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and family information while the account is active and only for as long as needed to provide Frunny, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect the service. A parent can request account deletion inside Frunny under Profile → Privacy & account, or through the public account-deletion page. Deleting a Frunny account removes associated profile, play and Moment records and private Moment photos from Frunny’s active systems.
Deleting Frunny does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Store subscriptions must be managed through the relevant store account. Stores and payment processors may retain transaction records for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.
Security and choices
Frunny uses account-scoped access controls, private photo storage and encrypted device secure storage for signed-in continuity. No service can promise absolute security. Parents may edit family preferences, remove Moments, sign out or request account deletion.
